Due to our growth, we are currently seeking a Utility Coordinator for our Cary, NC office. This position will provide project management and utility coordination on various projects involving multiple agencies including the North Carolina Department of Transportation.

Key Duties/Responsibilities:

Production

• Represents firm in meetings with  agencies, and contractors;
• Meets with utility companies on a regular basis regarding projects;
• Perform field visits and field investigations;
• Some overnight travel required;
• Administer and attend project meetings;
• Performs scheduling for utility relocations;
• Facilitates processing of various utility agreements with agencies;
• Develops utilities by others plans;
• Develops and presents reports;
• Preparation of meeting minutes and other related documents;
• Assists in tracking projects and objectives;
• Implement new regulations, city compliance, and new technology;
• Follows company safety policy and practices and adheres to responsibilities concerning safety , reporting and monitoring;
• Works in a safe manner and reports unsafe activity and conditions;

Administrative

• Organize project files;
• Maintain project status list and reports;
• Maintain client contact list;
• Provides project progress reports and write-ups;
• Proficient in using Microsoft products;
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned;

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

• High School Diploma or equivalent;
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience in the utility industry;
• Understanding of utilities, State Agencies (DOT), Municipal Agencies;
• Valid Driver's License and functional vehicle;
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication;
