North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) in conjunction with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities:

• NCDOT Project B-3677 Bridge No. 36 over Irvins Creek on Lebanon Road (SR 3135) - Provided the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities which included a 30" sewer main relocation. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting.

•  NCDOT Project U-3447 NC 51 - Provided the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting.

• NCDOT Project WBS 41223 Dixie River Road (SR 1155) - Provided the design of approximately 742 linear feet of 16-inch water main, 178 linear feet of 12-inch water main and the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting.

• NCDOT Project U-4401 Reedy Creek Road (SR 2804) and Harrisburg Road (SR 2805) - Provided the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting.

• NCDOT Project MA10181R Weddington Road from South of I-485 to the Intersection of Pleasant Plains Road - Provided the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting.

• NCDOT Project R-2555A West Catawba Avenue from Jetton Road to I-77 - Provided the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting.

• NCDOT Project U-2510A NC 16 from Rea Road Extension to South of I-485 - Provided the design of approximately 7,437 linear feet of 16-inch water main and the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting. 

• NCDOT Project P-3814 Back Creek Church Road @ NC 49 & N/S RR Grade Crossing - Provided the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting. 

• NCDOT Project P-3814B McLean Road @ NCRR/NS Railway Grade Crossing - Provided the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting. 

• NCDOT Project U-3603 NC 24-27 Albemarle Road - Provided the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities:

• 2008 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities "Professional Engineering Services for Utility Projects within NCDOT Projects" - Served as the prime on the 2008 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities open ended “on-call” contract to perform design services on water and sewer projects. The work includes individual Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities projects, as well as, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities work within NCDOT projects. 

• 2006 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Open Ended “On-Call” Contract - Served as a sub-consultant on the 2006 Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities open ended “on-call” contract to perform design services on water and sewer projects. The work includes individual Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities projects, as well as, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities work within NCDOT projects. 

• I-277/Caldwell Interchange Project for NASCAR Hall of Fame – Provided the design of approximately 1,412 feet of 36-inch ductile iron water pipe, 3,926 feet of 24-inch ductile iron water pipe, and 282 feet of 12-inch ductile iron water pipe. Providing design for approximately 1,090 feet of 24-inch ductile iron sewer pipe, 56 feet of 12-inch ductile iron sewer pipe, and 173 feet of 8-inch ductile iron sewer pipe. A joint duct bank installation with private utilities was also included with the water line construction to house power, cable, and fiber optic lines. Project includes a 250 foot utility tunnel to cross I-277 with the 36-inch water main and joint duct bank. Providing the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work includes construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting. 

• Stonewall Street 24-Inch Water Main – Provided the design of approximately 1,450 linear feet of 24-inch ductile iron water pipe between Brevard Street and Mint Street in Uptown Charlotte. The work includes utility coordination, construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting. 

• Huntersville Water Tank – Sub-consultant to provide design support and construction drawings. 

• Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Southwest Transmission Main Phase C – Sub-consultant to provide design support, permitting, encroachments, NCDOT coordination, and utility coordination. 

• CBD 4 Sewer Main Replacement Project  – Served as the prime on the construction phase of the project to provide project management, design, reviews of material submittals, utility coordination among utilities, contract administration, construction inspection services, and as-built drawings. Project included the upgrade of approximately 1,979 linear feet of 8-inch sewer main to an 18-inch sewer main and a joint duct bank installation. Project included sewer installation, utility duct bank facilities, utility relocations, asphalt pavement, concrete pavement, and traffic control. This was the first joint venture project between CMU, the City of Charlotte, and other utility companies. 

• Lift Station Wet Well Analysis - Provided stage-storage analysis of 9 major lift stations for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities. The pump stations included were Back Creek, Beaverdam Creek, Four Mile Creek, Long Creek, Neal Branch, Paw Creek, Six Mile Creek, Steele Creek, and Studman Branch. 

• Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities 2005 Annexation Projects – Sub-consultant to provide design support, permitting, encroachments, NCDOT coordination, and utility coordination. 

• Back Creek Sewer Project – Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities – Providing design for approximately 200 feet of sewer line to connect the Back Creek sewer system to the Long Creek sewer main. The work includes utility plans, specifications, material estimate, and permitting. 

• Charlotte-Mecklenburg Utilities Projects - Provided design, redesign, and construction inspection on numerous NCDOT projects which require CMU relocations and/or adjustments.

City of Charlotte:

• Grier Heights Connectivity Project - Provided the design of approximately 675 linear feet of 6-inch water main, 400 linear feet of 8-inch sewer main and the design and/or relocation of existing water and sewer facilities. The work included construction drawings, specifications, materials estimate, and permitting.

 Anson County Water Department:

• Anson County Water Department – Developed the water design manual for the Anson County Utility Department.

• Green Hill School Road and Red Fern Road – Provided for the project management and design of approximately 10,003 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water pipe for the two projects in Anson County.  The work included utility plans, specifications, material estimate, and permitting.

• City Pond Road, Tice Road, Bunn Road, Cappadocia Church Road, Allen Road, and Wall Road - Provided for the project management and design of approximately 45,149 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water pipe for these projects in Anson County.  The work included utility plans, specifications, material estimate, and permitting.

• Substation Road, Pitt Road, SR 1470, SR 1835, SR 1832, SR 1867, and SR 1825 - Provided for the project management and design of approximately 49,474 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water pipe for the two projects in Anson County.  The work included utility plans, specifications, material estimate, and permitting.

• Deep Springs Road - Provided for the project management and design of approximately 3,946 linear feet of 4-inch PVC water pipe for the project in Anson County.  The work included utility plans, specifications, material estimate, and permitting.

• NCEMC Peaking Plant - Provided for the project management and design of approximately 5,370 linear feet of 12-inch PVC water pipe for a proposed peaking plant in Anson County.  The work included utility plans, specifications, material estimate, and permitting.

• Morven Freight Line Road (SR 1726) - Provided for the project management and design of approximately 4,222 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water pipe for the project in Anson County.  The work included utility plans, specifications, material estimate, and permitting.

• US Highway 74 - Provided for the project management and design of approximately 3,480 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water pipe for the project in Anson County.  The work included utility plans, specifications, material estimate, and permitting.

• Crawford Pond Road, Long Pine Church Road, and Monroe White Store Road - Provided for the project management and design of approximately 22,821 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water pipe and approximately 16,820 linear feet of 8-inch PVC water pipe for these projects in Anson County.  The work included utility plans, specifications, material estimate, and permitting.  

• Fox Road, Ponderosa Place, Old Plank Road, Crowder Road, and Cribs Creek - Provided for the project management and design of approximately 29,500 linear feet of 6-inch PVC water pipe for these projects in Anson County.  The work included utility plans, specifications, material estimate, and permitting.

Land Development:

• Park Condos – Charlotte, NC - Provided the water and sewer design to the site.

• River Run Phase V - Davidson, NC - Provided the site design, roadway design, water and sewer design, and storm drainage design for the 121 lot subdivision.

• East Rock Subdivision - Davidson, NC - Provided the site design, roadway design, water and sewer design, and storm drainage design for the 15 lot subdivision.

• Park Place at Davidson – Davidson, NC - Provided the site design, roadway design, water and sewer design, and storm drainage design for the subdivision.

• Lowe’s - Pittsboro, NC - Served as a sub-consultant to provide water and sewer design for a new Lowe’s site. The work included utility plans, specifications, and permitting.

• Lowe’s - West Jefferson, NC - Served as a sub-consultant to provide water and sewer design for a new Lowe’s site. The work included utility plans, specifications, and permitting.

• Ingle’s - Swannanoa, NC - Served as a sub-consultant to provide water and sewer design for a new Ingle’s site. The work included utility plans, specifications, and permitting.

• Griffin Mill Estates Phase I and II - Anson County, NC - Provided the site design, roadway design, and storm drainage design for the 23 lot subdivision in Anson County.

• Southern Gas Company - Anson County, NC - Provided the site design, storm drainage design, water and sewer design, and erosion control for a new gas station in Anson County.

• Polkton Street Improvements - Polkton, NC - Provided roadway design, water line design, and storm drainage design, for the Town of Polkton.
